Not sure how to post this AMG GLS 63 S, or AMG GLS 2018, or AMG GLS 4Matic as the new 2018 model is mentioned on the AMG website. On the new 2018 model the model identification now carries the S so that's why I decided to follow the way that AG has been mentioning these on the site. Anyway, spotted this brand new GLS 63 S on 135th Street close to my house and followed it for a while. Had some trouble earlier this week with the low sun so I decided to put a filter on my lens it did a better job through my front windshield. Love this SUV!

Great spot, although I don't think this is an 'S'. Basically because in the US, the only models that you can order are the GLS 450, GLS 550 and GLS 63. Also, all Mercedes-AMG 'S' versions are standard equipped with red brake callipers.
I know for sure you can not buy a Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 'S' in the USA and the Netherlands. As this is a U.S.-Spec, I am doubting that this is an actual 'S' model.
Still a great spot though!

Thanks @PatrickC , I think the reason why they added the S is because the GLS 63 comes with 4Matic and it has the AMG’s 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine with 577 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. I sent a friend of mine that works at the Mercedes dealership the question and he stated that in the US all 2018 GLS models now carry the S logo and the same for the E series. Both cars will come standard with the more powerful engine and 4Matic in the US. Supposedly they have a white one on order and he was going to send me a pic when it comes in.

Thanks @lyon1845 yes, polarisation. Is that what you recommend for the low sun in the winter? Seems to help.
