One of ~15 still existing AMG 300E Hammers spotted! What makes this one even more unique is the fact it is boosted to 6.0 liters and affected by some slight mods from a Japan owner. And it's the last piece produced, only one having M119 engine instead of the older, standard for Hammers, M117. From the very beginning! This is the car that used to cost twice as many as Testarossa in 80's and was faster as well! First saloon to break the bareer of 300 kph! Actually, it's formally not a Mercedes Benz but just AMG. Full name says AMG 300E 6.0. Never thought I would see one of these on AG! Seeing this in 2016 equals with seeing a Veneno. You wouldn't tell at first sight how rare, fast and unique this car is. Epic spot buddy!!

You are 100% right. Only few people would know it's exoticness when looking at it. It looks so modest. Not as the Testarossa, more like an everyday car. But reality is soooo different! Testarossa is nothing in comparison with this AMG as far as exoticness is concerned. Yeah, Veneno seems to be close. Hard to believe it when you look at this car...
I even find it too hard to appreciate enough this day for myself, as I don't feel like I've spotted a 288 GTO. But I should! Almost...

Thank you. I also hope it will, as it deserves even a prize of a spot of the month. However, I suspect it not to become properly appreciated by people, especially in my country, because of its modest look. It will remain an everyday W124 for those who were too lazy to learn about it. Probably majority.
