Today after Palm Sunday mass we had to stop at CVS to get a few things, and a few feet from there I saw this parked at the post office. I got out and saw that it had manufacturer plates. Thinking that it was some pre-production Bentley, I waited for the owner to come (who was in the funeral home across the street at the time). He never showed up, and we went home. However, we realized he had forgotten to buy soda, so we turned around and went back to CVS. This time, the owner and his wife were getting ready to leave while talking to a few other people about the car. I walked back over to the parking lot and asked about it. The owner first asked if I was a "car buff" and I of course said yes, and he told me that they had recently bought a Maserati Ghibli from Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, CT and they gave them this Bentley for the weekend as a thank you gift (in which they are now trying to sell him this Bentley). He then allowed me to sit in the car, start it up, and rev the W12 engine, which with no doubt made my day. The last photo is of me sitting in the car (apologies for my hair).
